Staff Software Engineer
Job Summary
Providing architectural guidance across multiple product areas, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will identify risks, mentor developers, and enforce engineering standards in a remote capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and raise risks across multiple modules, including security risks and downstream platform impacts, before they reach production
- Provide architectural guidance and make cross-module design decisions in collaboration with Team Leadership and Architects
- Mentor and guide less experienced engineers, fostering a learning environment while advocating for addressing technical debt
Required Qualifications:
- Track record as a senior or staff-level engineer building and maintaining web applications across multiple product areas
- Strong proficiency in Angular and .NET (C#), with experience in API design and building services
- Demonstrated history of identifying and mitigating technical risks across multiple codebases
- Ability to operate independently and communicate architectural decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience mentoring engineers at various levels and enhancing team output
