Staff Software Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance AI security capabilities, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will build discovery systems for AI agents across cloud platforms and endpoints, assessing their security posture while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop AI agent discovery functionalities on existing cloud discovery systems, initially focusing on Microsoft Azure and expanding to AWS and Google Cloud
- Create discovery tools for AI agents operating on endpoints, addressing a new area for the team
- Evaluate the security posture of discovered agents to identify configuration risks and access levels
Required qualifications:
- Typically 8 or more years of experience in building production cloud or SaaS backend systems
- Hands-on experience with cloud provider APIs (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) and asset discovery systems
- Experience integrating with existing platforms, not just greenfield projects
- Proficiency in a modern backend programming language such as C#, Go, Java, or Python
- Ability to analyze complex problems and determine effective technical solutions with minimal guidance
