Staff Software Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the technical direction of a Kubernetes platform, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will design and implement systems to enhance reliability and scalability while working remotely with a distributed team.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate Kubernetes-based platform systems that support production services
- Improve reliability, scalability, and operability across the Kubernetes fleet
- Lead technical initiatives involving cross-team platform challenges, including migration and capacity management
Required qualifications
- 9+ years of experience in Software Engineering or related technical discipline with proven experience in production software coding
- 2+ years of experience with large-scale Kubernetes fleet operations and cluster lifecycle management
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience with programming languages such as C, Java, Go, or Python
- Experience in debugging and resolving complex production issues across cloud infrastructure and distributed systems
- Ability to mentor engineers and contribute to design and code reviews
