Staff Software Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the technical direction for AI-native systems, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will design and build production AI agents, mentor engineers, and drive cross-team initiatives in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Own the technical direction for significant AI-native domains, including agent architecture and platform abstractions
- Design and implement production AI agents while establishing standards for production readiness
- Collaborate with product and operations teams to define use cases and communicate technical trade-offs effectively
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in building and operating production software, with expertise in TypeScript/Node.js and Python
- Proven technical leadership experience, including leading multi-engineer efforts and driving decisions across teams
- Hands-on experience in designing and deploying agentic systems in production environments
- Strong cloud-native engineering fundamentals, including CI/CD and observability
- Fluency with relational data and SQL
