Job Summary
To support the development of a leading digital ordering platform for medical equipment and supplies, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will work remotely, focusing on agile development, technical decision-making, and maintaining application performance while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Develop applications using TDD and pair programming in an agile environment
- Lead technical decisions regarding application and data model design while ensuring code quality
- Participate in an on-call rotation to resolve critical system issues and improve system reliability
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a production environment with Ruby on Rails or other open source languages
- Staff-level engineering experience with technical leadership and mentoring capabilities
- Must reside in the U.S
