Staff Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support scalable client launches and secure member access, the fully remote Staff Software Engineer will engage in full stack product development, focusing on building and maintaining GraphQL APIs, implementing user experiences, and ensuring compliance with security standards.
Key responsibilities
- Lead full stack product development with an emphasis on backend systems and GraphQL APIs
- Independently write and execute technical plans for large, cross-domain projects while coordinating with product and design teams
- Mentor other engineers and contribute to cross-team engineering forums to enhance technical initiatives
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of software development experience in general-purpose programming languages
- At least 2+ years of production experience in full-stack web development using Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, React Native, and React
- Proven ability to independently decompose ambiguous problems and deliver technical solutions
- Experience building and maintaining GraphQL and/or REST APIs
- Strong track record of effective cross-functional collaboration and technical leadership
