Staff Software Engineer
Job Summary
Joining the Spacewrx team in Westminster, CO, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will design and develop operational software for a satellite ground system, working remotely two days a week and in-office on the other weekdays.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and develop operational code for new features and defect repairs
- Develop automated unit, functional, and integration tests
- Troubleshoot operational issues and support deadlines while communicating results
Required qualifications:
- Must be a US Citizen
- Computer Science or Engineering degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of software development experience with complex software systems
- Expertise in Python for web services (Django) and scripting
- Experience with API concepts like REST/JSON/YAML
