Staff Software Engineer
Job Summary
Serving as a technical leader, the remote Staff Software Engineer will architect and build cross-functional software solutions, guide teams through complex design decisions, and write production code while ensuring scalability and maintainability.
Key responsibilities
- Shape architecture and technical direction across multiple business workflows, leading design reviews and advising teams
- Drive technical initiatives end-to-end, clearly communicating progress and value to stakeholders at all levels
- Design and implement critical frontend and backend components using TypeScript/JavaScript and Python, while mentoring senior engineers
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with demonstrated Staff-level impact across multiple teams
- Proven leadership in defining and delivering multi-quarter technical initiatives
- Strong systems mindset with the ability to design for extensibility, scalability, and performance
- Full-stack fluency in TypeScript/JavaScript and Python, with experience in CI/CD practices
- Ability to break down complex technical work into manageable pieces for delivery teams
