Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of innovative AI infrastructure, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will design and build systems for API discovery and agent orchestration, working remotely from anywhere in the U.S. or Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement systems for API discovery, schema understanding, and safe orchestration at enterprise scale
• Own and address search, ranking, relevance, and query-planning challenges central to agent functionality
• Collaborate with a small team to prototype solutions, iterate based on customer feedback, and communicate technical tradeoffs effectively

Required qualifications

• Hands-on experience owning a search, ranking, relevance, or query-planning system at scale
• Proven ability to evaluate and iterate on multiple algorithmic approaches to retrieval or ranking problems
• Comfort with ambiguity and a preference for defining problems over executing predefined solutions
• Experience working in a small, fast-paced team environment with minimal process overhead
• A growth mindset with a focus on the intersection of AI agents and enterprise infrastructure
