Staff Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing digital ecosystem, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will design and build scalable back-end architectures for the PSA Set Registry while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and development of new cloud-based software architectures
- Own and deliver complete features, including design, architecture, implementation, testability, and deployment
- Analyze existing applications/databases and identify areas for improvement
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on backend software development
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with databases (both relational and NoSQL)
- 5+ years of experience with AWS technologies, including Lambda and API Gateway
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
