Staff Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support the development of autonomous financial software, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will design and implement backend services and infrastructure for a high-frequency trading fleet while working remotely across US to GMT timezones.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the migration of agent runtime and backend infrastructure to a centralized, high-performance Go service
- Develop advanced execution systems and robust CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment and operational reliability
- Architect and manage systems for model hosting migration, ensuring performance optimization and telemetry capture
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in Go, Python, and Node.js/TypeScript, with a strong preference for Go
- Experience building complex backend services in fast-paced startup environments
- Deep understanding of real-time systems, websocket management, and database technologies including Postgres and Redis
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (AWS EKS) for deploying and scaling production workloads
- Demonstrated ability to manage systems through their entire lifecycle from design to maintenance
