Staff Software Engineer
Job Summary
Focusing on building innovative solutions for the finance technology platform, the remote Staff Software Engineer will manage architecture, define APIs, and lead initiatives to ensure safe and compliant financial transactions while mentoring technical leaders.
Key responsibilities
- Own the architecture for the Finance Technology platform, including pay-ins, payouts, invoicing, and tax calculation
- Define clear, well-versioned APIs and contracts for Finance Technology services across all channels
- Lead multi-quarter initiatives end-to-end, collaborating with Product and design teams while remaining hands-on in coding
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience building backend services
- 4+ years of experience with Go programming language
- Proven experience leading multi-quarter, multi-team initiatives as a tech lead
- Deep experience with payment-processing and payout systems in high-volume products
- Strong instincts for API/contract design and service boundaries
