Staff Software Engineer AI

Job Summary

Leading the evolution of the AI & Recommendations platform, the full-time Staff Software Engineer, AI will design and develop scalable backend systems and APIs, collaborate with Machine Learning engineers, and drive technical initiatives in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of scalable backend systems and APIs for treatment recommendations and personalization
• Architect infrastructure for experimentation and AI-powered healthcare experiences
• Mentor engineers and influence the technical direction of the AI ecosystem

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with production systems at scale
• Strong expertise in backend engineering, distributed systems, and cloud-native architectures
• Experience building data-intensive applications leveraging machine learning or recommendation systems
• Proficiency in Python and modern software development practices
• Familiarity with ML lifecycle concepts and cloud platforms such as AWS or Kubernetes
