Staff Software Engineer (Backend)

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer (Backend) focused on Rewards and Reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Elixir
• Analyze and resolve technical problems to enhance financial systems and processes
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to develop technical solutions

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of software development experience with large-scale applications
• Proficiency in an object-oriented or functional programming language, preferably Elixir
• Strong knowledge of SQL Databases, particularly Postgres
• Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including Data Structures and Algorithms
