Staff Software Engineer, Cybersecurity

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer, Manufacturing Cybersecurity (Medical Devices).

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop secure C# software for manufacturing tools and fixtures for cardiac monitoring devices
• Lead the implementation of secure software systems and enforce cybersecurity best practices throughout the software development lifecycle
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure production software systems meet operational and security requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with 12+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 8+ years of experience
• Minimum 2+ years in a security-focused role or equivalent hands-on experience
• Strong programming skills in C# or a similar modern object-oriented programming language
• Familiarity with software QA processes in regulated environments is preferred
• Experience with secure coding practices, authentication mechanisms, and vulnerability management
