Staff Software Engineer, DevOps
Job Summary
As a full-time Staff Software Engineer, DevOps, working remotely, the candidate will serve as a senior technical leader responsible for designing and evolving cloud infrastructure, automation, and DevOps practices to enhance software delivery and platform reliability within a global SaaS environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead DevOps initiatives by defining architectural standards and driving strategic improvements in scalability and performance
- Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enhance software delivery processes and deployment consistency
- Architect and maintain cloud environments using AWS and Microsoft Azure, focusing on automation and operational excellence
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- 8+ years of experience in designing and supporting large-scale cloud infrastructure and software delivery platforms
- Proven success in leading DevOps and cloud modernization initiatives within SaaS organizations
- Advanced expertise with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure cloud services and Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks like Terraform
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and modern container orchestration technologies
