Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer, Perception.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the technical direction of the Perception Architecture team and broader perception organization
• Design and develop core machine learning components and architectures for complex driving scenarios
• Lead the implementation and prototyping of key architectural decisions and drive consensus across teams

Required Qualifications

• BS with 6+ years, MS with 5+ years, or PhD with 3+ years in a perception-related field
• Extensive experience in architecting, training, and deploying deep learning models in safety-critical environments
• Proven track record of driving applied research or engineering projects to successful productization
• Strong experience in software engineering and machine learning algorithm design
• Fluency in Python and hands-on experience with C++, with experience in sensor fusion being highly desirable
