Staff Software Engineer, Platform Infrastructure

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer, Platform Infrastructure (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Design and evolve the cloud and runtime platform, including Kubernetes and supporting infrastructure
• Own platform primitives and services for standardized deployment and operation of systems in production
• Drive reliability, scalability, performance, and operational excellence across platform-managed services

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, focusing on platform or infrastructure engineering
• Strong experience with Kubernetes and managed container platforms (EKS preferred)
• Hands-on experience designing and operating cloud infrastructure on AWS
• Proficiency in one or more backend languages such as Go or Python
• Deep understanding of observability, including metrics, logging, tracing, and alerting
