Staff Software Engineer - SRE
Job Summary
Driving infrastructure automation and operational resilience, the full-time Staff Software Engineer - SRE will design and implement automation-first systems within a remote environment, focusing on Kubernetes, cloud platforms, and DevOps practices to enhance reliability and reduce operational toil.
Key responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and operate enterprise-scale Kubernetes clusters across hybrid and multi-cloud environments
- Architect and implement closed-loop auto-remediation systems to detect and resolve infrastructure failures autonomously
- Establish SLO frameworks and develop automated runbooks to empower on-call engineers in incident response
Required qualifications
- 8+ years in software engineering or infrastructure operations, with 5+ years in SRE, DevOps, or cloud platform engineering roles
- Strong hands-on expertise in operating production Kubernetes clusters at scale
- Extensive experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP, capable of architecting multi-region solutions
- Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement automated remediation systems that reduce manual toil
