Job Summary
Leading efforts to identify and co-develop energy projects for long-duration energy storage, the full-time Staff Structured Origination Manager will negotiate complex agreements with renewable developers and manage relationships in target markets while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage partnerships with renewable developers, negotiating co-development agreements and compensation structures
- Evaluate and prioritize project opportunities, recommending acquisition terms and leading negotiations for project acquisitions
- Collaborate with internal teams to assess project feasibility, structure deals, and provide updates on pipeline status and market intelligence
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in renewable energy with expertise in project acquisition, M&A, or structured development partnerships
- Proven ability to structure complex, multi-agreement deals in the renewable energy sector
- Experience with utility-scale renewable energy and/or storage projects in MISO, SPP, or PJM
- Familiarity with interconnection mechanics and regulations related to storage projects
- Understanding of ISO/RTO capacity markets and the participation of storage assets
