Staff Technical Program Manager

Job Summary

Focusing on cross-engineering special projects, the full-time Staff Technical Program Manager will identify, scope, champion, and deliver high-impact initiatives critical to advancing Pinterest's ML/AI Platform, operating with an AI-first mindset and collaborating remotely with various teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic ML/AI platform programs by delivering high-impact initiatives and owning outcomes from inception to execution
• Prototype AI-augmented tools and workflows to improve decision-making and operational efficiency
• Drive cross-functional alignment and communication, ensuring stakeholders have timely visibility into priorities, status, risks, and decisions

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of Technical Program Management experience with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Demonstrated ability to leverage GenAI for program execution and stakeholder communication
• Experience in AI governance, including risk assessment and sensitive data handling
• Working knowledge of Machine Learning, GenAI, and systems engineering principles
• Proven track record of influencing senior leadership and building trusted relationships across disciplines
