Staff Test Engineer

Job Summary

To support critical U.S. government programs, the full-time Staff Test Engineer will provide technical leadership in quality assurance initiatives, drive test automation strategies, and establish best practices while working in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Leading the integration of quality assurance best practices across product lifecycle phases
• Defining and executing quality assurance processes, methods, and test automation tools to ensure defect-free products
• Partnering with engineering and product teams to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience
• At least five years of industry experience, including a minimum of three years in a quality assurance role
• Strong understanding of software quality assurance methodologies and processes
• Hands-on experience with test tools, defect reporting, and defect tracking systems
• Experience in defining quality metrics and conducting predictive analysis
