Staff Virtualization Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Virtualization Engineer (VMware & Storage).

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and administer virtualization and storage systems, including installation and configuration
• Lead cross-functional projects and make architectural decisions to enhance infrastructure
• Mentor engineers and continuously improve processes related to system design and change controls

Required Qualifications

• BS in computer science, engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in systems design and implementation in complex environments
• Advanced proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Terraform)
• Expertise in VMware technologies and extensive knowledge of enterprise server and storage systems
• Experience with cloud technologies and hybrid on-prem/cloud environments
