Job Summary
To support a growing banking platform, the full-time Advisor, Startup Banking will research, identify, and acquire new clients while building strong relationships and collaborating with internal teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities by identifying and prospecting potential middle-market businesses
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to maximize account retention and identify upselling opportunities
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends and potential target clients for effective business development strategies
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a full-cycle sales professional in B2B sales, particularly in business banking or credit card products
- Proven track record of selling to SMBs or middle-market companies with revenues of $20 million and above
- Deep local market network with experience in cold calling and acquiring new business
- Experience navigating complex sales processes involving multiple C-Suite stakeholders
- Proficiency with sales tools including Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
