State Advocacy Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager of State Advocacy and Conversion Therapy Campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and report on relevant federal and state agency action and legislation related to conversion therapy and other priorities
• Collaborate with advocacy team to advance mission through legislative advocacy efforts
• Manage partnerships, engage with stakeholders, and produce relevant data and reports

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in advocacy spaces and working with marginalized communities
• Ability to navigate power dynamics in state capitals and persuade lawmakers
• Proficiency in spoken and written English
• Experience in training, managing, and mentoring volunteers and interns
• Passionate about supporting LGBTQ youth and creating positive change
