Key Responsibilities

• Assess state legislative and regulatory proposals affecting the CPA profession
• Develop advocacy strategies to address legislative and regulatory challenges with state CPA societies
• Prepare policy position papers, testimony, and briefings for state legislatures and regulatory agencies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in political science, public policy, law, business, or a related field
• 12+ years of experience in state government affairs, advocacy, or public policy
• Knowledge of state legislative and regulatory processes
• Experience working with lawmakers, agencies, and business associations
