A company is looking for an Associate VP, State Affairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advocate for the organization's interests at state and local levels
  • Develop and oversee state government affairs engagement across 25 states
  • Advise senior leadership on policy developments and represent the organization at state hearings and meetings
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Law, or a related field
  • Minimum of 12 years' experience in state government relations or legislative affairs
  • Experience in state health care advocacy and policy
  • Minimum 6 years' experience managing state government affairs professionals
  • Proven relationships with state and local policymakers and a deep understanding of legislative processes
