A company is looking for an Associate VP, State Affairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Advocate for the organization's interests at state and local levels
- Develop and oversee state government affairs engagement across 25 states
- Advise senior leadership on policy developments and represent the organization at state hearings and meetings
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Law, or a related field
- Minimum of 12 years' experience in state government relations or legislative affairs
- Experience in state health care advocacy and policy
- Minimum 6 years' experience managing state government affairs professionals
- Proven relationships with state and local policymakers and a deep understanding of legislative processes
