Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager of State and Local Policy.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage strategic policy initiatives at state and local levels to promote sustainable, plant-based food systems
• Draft and implement advocacy strategies, including policy development and coalition building
• Engage with state policymakers and advocacy organizations to advance the advocacy agenda

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in campaign management, community organizing, or partnership development
• Demonstrated interest in food justice or food system sustainability
• Commitment to equity and social justice principles
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple tasks
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
