Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Attorney to work on litigation, legislative, and amicus work.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct litigation tasks including motion practice, legal research, and drafting legal documents
• Draft amicus briefs and collaborate with co-amici and attorneys
• Engage in legislative activities, including drafting testimony and attending committee meetings

Required Qualifications

• J.D. degree
• State or D.C. bar membership
• Demonstrated commitment to public interest law, civil rights, and racial justice
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly for case matters and meetings
• Five years or more of litigation experience is desired
