State Certified Appraisal Manager

Job Summary

Providing support to the Appraisal Group management, the full-time remote State Certified Appraisal Manager will perform independent internal reviews of appraisal reports, assist in managerial duties, and assess the validity of existing appraisals and evaluations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct independent internal reviews of appraisal reports to ensure compliance with industry standards and bank policies
• Act as a resource for bank staff, assisting with inquiries related to corporate appraisal policy and compliance
• Analyze existing appraisals to determine their validity and prepare necessary documentation for market value assessments

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
• 10 or more years of appraisal experience
• 3 or more years of management experience, preferably in a banking environment
• State Certified General Appraiser certification in PA, MD, NJ, VA, DE, or DC
• 5 or more years of banking experience (preferred)
