Job Summary

Guiding the appraisal review process, the full-time State Certified Appraisal Review Officer will perform independent reviews of complex real estate appraisals for regulatory compliance, assist management in risk management strategies, and develop corporate appraisal policies while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct independent reviews of complex real estate appraisals and recommend actions for compliance with regulatory standards
• Guide management and affiliate bank staff on risk management related to real estate collateral and respond to inquiries about corporate appraisal policies
• Develop and coordinate corporate appraisal policies and review programs, providing training and tools for compliance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
• 5 or more years of experience in appraisal development and review
• State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser certification
