A company is looking for a Claims Specialist to manage lower-level workers' compensation claims under supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive claims and confirm policy coverage and acknowledgment
• Determine validity and compensability of claims, establish reserves, and authorize payments
• Communicate claim status with customers, claimants, and clients while adhering to guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and related experience
• Minimum of 1 year of industry experience and claims management preferred
• State Certification as an Experienced Examiner
