Job Summary

To support aspiring educators, the part-time State Certified Elementary Education Instructor will provide online instruction in instructional planning and assessments, facilitating discussions and assessing student performance while adhering to course requirements and deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate weekly discussion forums to engage students in the online classroom
• Adhere to grading requirements and deadlines while assessing student performance
• Respond to student inquiries within established timeframes and provide a positive example aligned with the university's mission

Required qualifications

• Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction, Instructional Leadership, Elementary Education, Learning and Teaching, or Teaching Innovation preferred
• Master's in Education, Elementary Education, or Curriculum and Instruction with two areas of exceptional expertise required
• Valid state teacher certification in elementary education
• Minimum of three years of experience as an elementary classroom teacher or related role
• Graduate credits related to assessment and lesson planning
