Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Director, State Government Affairs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and implementation of a multi-state plan aligned with business and policy objectives
  • Identify and analyze legislation impacting the business and propose amendments and strategies
  • Shape and advance strategic objectives through partnerships with local trade associations and key stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required; master's degree or Juris Doctor preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in government affairs, preferably in Missouri, Arkansas, and/or Tennessee
  • Experience with governor's office or state legislature preferred
  • Strong knowledge of state government and local stakeholder organizations
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with patient advocacy groups and government officials
