State Licensed Account Manager

Job Summary

Supporting the management of business relationships, the remote State Licensed Account Manager will oversee client accounts, assist the Account Executive Team, and resolve benefit plan issues while ensuring excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage relationships between clients and brokers, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution
• Provide reporting and analysis to clients, discussing key statistics and addressing ongoing claim issues
• Support the Account Executive team with new business and renewal implementation tasks while identifying opportunities for growth

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience in an Account Manager or Account Executive role within healthcare insurance
• State producer license and Life Agent license preferred
• Strong understanding of employee benefits plans, regulations, and relevant legislation
• Familiarity with benefit administration platforms and medical terminology is a plus
