State Licensed Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accountant to manage financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and reconciliations
• Oversee IOLTA/trust accounting compliance and ensure adherence to state bar regulations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and analyze KPIs for operational efficiency

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a law firm
• Proven experience with trust/IOLTA accounting and compliance
• Proficiency in QuickBooks (or similar), Excel, and legal billing software
• Strong understanding of financial reporting
