Job Summary
To support the enterprise's Value-Based Care initiatives, the full-time remote State Licensed Actuary will conduct analysis, pricing, and risk assessment to estimate financial outcomes while leveraging advanced actuarial knowledge and data analysis skills.
Key responsibilities
- Apply mathematical and statistical principles to calculate financial outcomes and support methodology development
- Extract, clean, and analyze complex claims and clinical datasets to build valuation models
- Participate in merger and acquisition analysis while ensuring adequate cash reserves for future benefit payments
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- At least 5 years of actuarial experience
- Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) certification is required
- Experience in government-funded healthcare or Value-Based Care analytics is preferred
- Hands-on data extraction and modeling skills, including proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel
