Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Actuarial Services to lead and manage actuarial initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as an internal actuarial consultant across business units, providing expert guidance in data analytics and risk quantification
• Supervise and develop actuarial staff while ensuring the quality and timeliness of actuarial work products
• Calculate reserves for IBNR claims and deliver financial forecasts to support executive decision-making

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible actuarial experience in health insurance or managed care
• Experience in both commercial and government health programs (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid)
• Strong understanding of health insurance markets and regulations
• Proficiency in data analysis tools, relational databases, and actuarial software
