State Licensed Acute Care Provider

Job Summary

To support a growing telehealth medical group, the full-time State Licensed Acute Care Provider will deliver virtual acute care, diagnose complex medical conditions, and collaborate with care teams, working remotely with a schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week, including one weekend shift each month.

Key responsibilities

• Perform Care OnDemand visits, evaluating and diagnosing acute illnesses, ordering diagnostic tests, and establishing care plans
• Collaborate closely with the member's care team, including PCPs and specialists, to coordinate care and deliver a comprehensive treatment plan
• Utilize and provide feedback on the electronic health information system while adapting to evolving healthcare service needs

Required qualifications

• Active and in-good-standing RN and APRN licenses for Nurse Practitioners or an active and in-good-standing Physician Assistant license
• At least three years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in acute settings, urgent care, or emergency medicine
• Willingness to work four 10-hour shifts per week, including one weekend shift per month, from 11am-9pm EST
• Ability to obtain licensure in additional states as needed within 90 days of hire
• Experience with telehealth video platforms is preferred
