Job Summary
To support the development of future educators, the part-time State Licensed Adjunct Faculty will provide online instruction for the Inclusive Classroom Management Essentials and Behavioral Collaboration course, facilitating discussions and assessing student performance while adhering to university standards.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate weekly discussion forums to engage students in the online classroom
- Adhere to grading requirements, deadlines, and timeframes
- Respond to student inquiries within established timeframes
Required qualifications
- Preferred: Doctorate in Special Education, Elementary Education, Curriculum and Instruction, Learning and Teaching, Educational Psychology, or Psychology with valid state teacher certification
- Minimum: Master's degree in Special Education, Elementary Education, or Curriculum and Instruction with valid state teacher certification
- At least 3 years of teaching experience with students with disabilities in grades K-12 or in an inclusive general education setting for grades K-8
- Exceptional expertise in at least two relevant areas
