Job Summary

A company is looking for an Admissions Services Specialist to support Acute Behavioral Health Facilities remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage referral management portals and monitor faxed referrals
• Perform insurance benefit verifications and coordinate admissions and transfers between levels of care
• Document calls in Salesforce and facilitate the intake and admissions process for incoming patients

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Behavioral Science, Social Work, Sociology, Nursing, or a related field
• Knowledge of admission/referral processes and behavioral health issues
• Understanding of financial principles and insurance reimbursement practices
• Proficiency with Salesforce.com or other CRM applications, Concur, and MS Office
• Licensure as required for the area of clinical specialty (e.g., RN, CAC)
