State Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor
Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the remote State Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor will manage a caseload of members, facilitate individual coaching sessions, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans aimed at reducing alcohol use and promoting positive health outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate new members and formulate individualized care plans through standardized intake processes
- Facilitate individual coaching sessions via video/phone calls and app-based communications
- Monitor health outcomes and coordinate care for members while documenting sessions in EMR and billing systems
Required qualifications
- Certified as an alcohol and drug counselor or equivalent, with certification from IC&RC
- 3-5 years of experience in alcohol use disorder or addiction treatment
- BA/BS and/or MA preferred
- Experience with EMR systems and telehealth platforms
- Knowledgeable in evidence-based treatment programs and harm reduction models
