State Licensed Alcohol Counselor

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor to support members in reducing or eliminating alcohol use through telehealth services.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate new members and formulate care plans in collaboration with medical staff
• Facilitate individual coaching sessions and manage a caseload of members
• Document sessions, track member engagement, and develop new clinical tools

Required Qualifications

• Certified as an alcohol and drug counselor or equivalent certification
• 3-5 years of experience in alcohol use disorder or addiction treatment
• BA/BS and/or MA preferred
• Experience with EMR systems and telehealth settings
• Knowledge of evidence-based SUD treatment programs and harm reduction models
