Job Summary
To support individuals in overcoming alcohol use challenges, the part-time State Licensed Alcohol Counselor will conduct virtual coaching sessions, develop personalized care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote positive health outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate new members and formulate individualized care plans through standardized intake processes
- Facilitate individual coaching sessions via video calls and app-based communication, managing a caseload of members
- Collaborate with the treatment team to implement evidence-based interventions and monitor health outcomes
Required qualifications
- State certification as an alcohol and drug counselor or equivalent credentials recognized by the IC&RC
- 3-5 years of experience in alcohol use disorder or addiction treatment
- Preferred BA/BS or MA in a relevant field
- Experience with EMR systems and telehealth platforms
- Knowledgeable in evidence-based treatment programs and harm reduction models
