State Licensed Alcohol Counselor

Job Summary

To support individuals in overcoming alcohol use challenges, the part-time State Licensed Alcohol Counselor will conduct virtual coaching sessions, develop personalized care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote positive health outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate new members and formulate individualized care plans through standardized intake processes
• Facilitate individual coaching sessions via video calls and app-based communication, managing a caseload of members
• Collaborate with the treatment team to implement evidence-based interventions and monitor health outcomes

Required qualifications

• State certification as an alcohol and drug counselor or equivalent credentials recognized by the IC&RC
• 3-5 years of experience in alcohol use disorder or addiction treatment
• Preferred BA/BS or MA in a relevant field
• Experience with EMR systems and telehealth platforms
• Knowledgeable in evidence-based treatment programs and harm reduction models
