Job Summary
To support members in reducing or eliminating alcohol use, the remote State Licensed Alcohol Counselor will manage individualized care plans, conduct coaching sessions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team while working in a virtual environment.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate new members and formulate individualized care plans through standardized intake
- Facilitate individual coaching sessions and monitor health outcomes, ensuring high engagement and quality experiences
- Collaborate with medical staff and develop evidence-based interventions to support pharmacotherapy and positive health outcomes
Required qualifications
- Certified as an alcohol and drug counselor in the state or equivalent certifications recognized by IC&RC
- 3-5 years of experience in alcohol use disorder or addiction treatment
- Preferred BA/BS and/or MA degree in a related field
- Experience with EMR systems, Zoom conferencing, and app-based applications
- Knowledgeable in evidence-based SUD treatment programs and harm reduction models
