State Licensed Alcohol Counselor

Job Summary

To support members in reducing or eliminating alcohol use, the remote State Licensed Alcohol Counselor will manage individualized care plans, conduct coaching sessions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team while working in a virtual environment.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate new members and formulate individualized care plans through standardized intake
• Facilitate individual coaching sessions and monitor health outcomes, ensuring high engagement and quality experiences
• Collaborate with medical staff and develop evidence-based interventions to support pharmacotherapy and positive health outcomes

Required qualifications

• Certified as an alcohol and drug counselor in the state or equivalent certifications recognized by IC&RC
• 3-5 years of experience in alcohol use disorder or addiction treatment
• Preferred BA/BS and/or MA degree in a related field
• Experience with EMR systems, Zoom conferencing, and app-based applications
• Knowledgeable in evidence-based SUD treatment programs and harm reduction models
