Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time State Licensed Alcohol Counselor will manage a caseload of members, provide individualized care plans, and facilitate coaching sessions to support clients in reducing or eliminating alcohol use through evidence-based interventions and technology platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate new members and formulate individualized care plans in collaboration with the treatment team
- Facilitate individual coaching sessions through video/phone calls and app-based communication
- Monitor health outcomes and coordinate care to ensure positive health results for members
Required qualifications
- Certified as an alcohol and drug counselor or equivalent, with credentials recognized by IC&RC
- 3-5 years of experience in alcohol use disorder or addiction treatment
- BA/BS and/or MA preferred, with a background in addiction treatment or wellness
- Experience with EMR systems, Zoom conferencing, and app-based applications
- Knowledgeable in evidence-based treatment programs and harm reduction models
