Job Summary
To support individuals in reducing or eliminating alcohol use, the part-time, remote State Licensed Alcohol Counselor will evaluate new members, develop personalized care plans, and facilitate coaching sessions while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate new members and formulate individualized care plans
- Facilitate coaching through video and app-based communication, managing a caseload of members
- Collaborate with medical staff and treatment teams to revise care plans and monitor health outcomes
Required qualifications
- State certification as an alcohol and drug counselor or equivalent
- 3-5 years of experience in alcohol use disorder or addiction treatment
- BA/BS and/or MA preferred
- Experience with EMR systems and telehealth platforms
- Knowledge of evidence-based treatment programs and harm reduction models
