Job Summary
Owning the execution of the AML/BSA Program as the designated State Licensed AML/BSA Officer, the full-time remote Senior Manager will manage suspicious activity investigations, escalate material issues to senior management, and maintain relationships with examiners and auditors.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end execution of the AML/BSA Program and manage suspicious activity investigations and SAR filings
- Provide independent judgment on AML/BSA risk and escalate significant issues to senior management and the Risk Committee
- Deliver regular and ad hoc reporting on program effectiveness and maintain the primary relationship with examiners and auditors
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of AML/BSA experience, including 3+ years administering AML/BSA programs and interacting with regulators
- Active CAMS certification
- Strong knowledge of AML/BSA laws and financial services regulatory compliance frameworks
- Proven ability to independently manage investigations and SAR filings
- Experience managing and developing a team of compliance or risk professionals
