Job Summary
Seeking a Regional Anesthesiologist with active ultrasound-guided nerve block experience, the part-time contract position will focus on annotating ultrasound images for an AI training study, identifying nerve landmarks, and applying clinical knowledge of relevant anatomy.
Key responsibilities
- Annotate ultrasound images focusing on nerve landmarks and surrounding anatomy
- Identify and label nerves relevant to regional anesthesia procedures
- Apply clinical knowledge of nerve-adjacent vascular and soft tissue structures in the groin and lower extremity
Required qualifications
- MD with anesthesiology training and active regional anesthesia practice
- Regular use of ultrasound-guided nerve blocks (preference for candidates performing 15+ blocks per month)
- Experience with lower extremity blocks including femoral, adductor canal, sciatic, popliteal, or fascia iliaca
- Comfort identifying the femoral nerve and surrounding neurovascular bundle on ultrasound
