Job Summary
To support a humanitarian immigration practice, the remote State Licensed Appeal Staff Attorney will review and respond to Requests for Evidence (RFEs), ensure compliance with USCIS requirements, and conduct detailed legal research on immigration law topics.
Key responsibilities
- Review draft immigration applications and legal strategies prepared by paralegals
- Identify and track necessary edits prior to submission, ensuring all requirements are met
- Communicate clearly with team members regarding edits and meet daily case review goals
Required qualifications
- J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school and active membership in good standing of a state bar
- Experience with case management software preferred
- Interest in immigration law preferred
- Ability to follow detailed directions
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and document management systems
